29 July 2026 | Astana
Today, 29 July, an open public discussion of the «Accessible Public Reception» project was held in Astana.
The discussion was attended by representatives of non-governmental organizations, the management of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs for the city of Astana, the management of the Department of Digitalization and Public Services of Astana, as well as a member of the Public Council of Astana.
Participants were presented with a prototype of the KABYLDAU.INFO platform, which will complement in-person public receptions with an online format. Residents of remote areas, people with disabilities, elderly citizens, and those who cannot leave work will be able to ask their questions remotely and receive a consultation on the day of the reception.
It is important that the platform does not replace eOtinish. Its purpose is to preserve the prompt format of the live public reception, but make it accessible to more citizens.
During the meeting, the participants discussed public awareness, data protection, the legal status of responses from government bodies, the workload on specialists, and limitations on the platform operating hours.
Following the discussion, it was proposed to:
A separate demonstration of the platform capabilities for government bodies is also planned.
We thank all participants for the meaningful discussion, questions, and proposals.
We especially thank the Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan and the NGO Alliance of Astana for their help in organizing and holding the event.
The next meeting is planned for late August — early September.
