Public Monitoring of Medical Service Quality in Uralsk

Public Fund «Ashyk Kogam Social Development and Innovation Fund» initiated public monitoring of the quality of state medical services on June 30, 2026, at the Diagnostic Center of the SCE on the RUE «Regional Multidisciplinary Hospital» of the West Kazakhstan Region Health Department.
The monitoring was conducted in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On Public Control» with the participation of members of the Public Councils of WKO and Uralsk, NGO representatives, media, the WKO Department of Civil Service Affairs, the WKO Health Department, and the WKO Branch of the Social Health Insurance Fund.
Monitoring Participants
Members of the Public Councils of WKO and Uralsk, NGO and media representatives, and representatives of the WKO Department of Civil Service Affairs, the WKO Health Department, and the WKO Branch of the Social Health Insurance Fund took part in the monitoring.
What Was Evaluated
During the monitoring, the accessibility of medical services, waiting times, service quality, visitor conditions, and compliance with state service standards were evaluated. Following the event, recommendations aimed at improving the quality of medical services for the public were prepared.
Future Plans
PF «Ashyk Kogam Social Development and Innovation Fund» continues to implement public control activities on an ongoing basis through public discussion, expert review, remote monitoring, or monitoring with site visits.
